Slicer intend to generate the seam at the right angles or sharp corners:

You will not notice the seam defects on the edges.
If you round all the corners with big radius, the slicer won't be able to hide the seam lines.
The seams are likely not straight, and affect the print quality of the edges.
This is what you get like the first photo shows.

To avoid that you can use the "Seam painting" function to define the seam generate position:
