💡 In firmware v1.5.5, we upgraded the filament runout sensor test function. You can now use it to check whether the filament sensor is faulty.
¶ 1. Go to: About printer → Sensor Status
¶ 2. Status
The status bar shows only two states, Absent and Present. If the filament runout sensor works, you will see:
- Filament loaded: it shows Present, and the status light is off.
- No filament loaded: it shows Absent, and the status light is on.

❗ If the filament runout sensor fails, it always shows Present, whether filament is loaded or not.
