Why is it important to keep the filament dry?
Damp filament will lead to a series of 3D print quality issues. Like rough surface, stringing problem, etc.

In plastics or our filaments, moisture content is regarded as a significant parameter. Moisture impacts the processability of almost all plastics.
However, when these plastics are 3D printed with moisture content beyond the accepted range, structural or visual defects may occur, which are considered a major problem.
Another factor that is equally important is an in-depth understanding of moisture content, because certain polymers/filament tend to degrade when 3D printed wet, leading to decreased material characteristics.
¶ 1. How to avoid the filament from dampness?
- Don't open the sealed filament bag if you don't print with it immediately.

- Put the filament in a sealed supply box when printing.

- If you don't have a supply box, please put the filament back in a sealed bag or container immediately after a 3D printing task.
¶ 2. How to dry the damp filaments?
There are many ways to dry the damp filaments, it depends on what you have with your hands.
- If you have an oven, dry the filament in the 50°C/60°C (temperature depends on the filament type) oven.

- If you have sealed containers and drying agent, put the filament and drying agent in the sealed container for over 10 hours to dry the material.
- If you have a food dehydrator machine, put the filament in the machine, set a 50°C/60°C temperature and dry it (temperature depends on the filament type).
