¶ Find the position of the clogging area
Steps:
- Preheat the nozzle to 260.
- Sharp and straighten the end of the filament.
- Bend the pressure bar of the extruder to release the press gear (It's for easy manual filament feeding).
- Insert the filament and push it toward the nozzle until you cannot feed it anymore, then mark the stop area of the filament and pull it out.
- Measure the filament outside of the print head, positioning the clog area.
¶ Tear down the filament tube mount base
Steps:
- Release the two PTFE tubes from the tube connectors.
- Use a hex wrench to take off the two screws.
- Take off the 3D printed black mount base.
¶ Unclog the print head

If the clogging area is in the top area of the hot-end (under the Y shape filament loading tubes module) ↓  |
If the clogging area is above the heating block (the nether area of the heat sink or the top area of the heating block) ↓  |

| Operation Steps: | 1. Take out the fragment from the hot-end with a tweezer. 2. Then install all the parts back to the original positions. 3. Prehead the nozzle to 260, then feed the filament to confirm if the hot-end is unclogged. |
1. Prehead the nozzle to 260. 2. Insert a thin hex wrench into the hot-end. 3. Gently hit the hex wrench with a heavy tool. Or hold the print head with one hand, in the meantime, push the hex wrench with another hand. 4. Feed a filament to confirm if the hot-end is unclogged. |
