Plastic Shrinkage
Plastic shrinks after 3D printing and cooling, causing dimensional deviations. This is a characteristic of polymer materials.
Shrinkage Compensate
Starting with FormLetter version V2.3.1.1-2.0.4-SE, the XY dimensions of printed parts have been scaled down to minimize deformation.
Please update your FormLetter to the latest version.
If you encounter significant dimensional deviations when printing large letters, causing the cut PVC backing or acrylic panel to not fit the 3D printed returns, please:
- update to the latest version of FormLetter (V2.3.1.1-2.0.4-SE or higher): Download & Installation
- manually set "Shrinkage (XY)" to "99.699%" in the slicer presets
